Annie Mae Davis Mayo

Annie Mae Davis Mayo, age 91, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013.

Annie was the daughter of the late Luna Lorenzo and Myrtle Mincey Davis. She was a native of Lumpkin County and spent a number of years in Atlanta, GA, and had returned to Lumpkin County 15 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Siloam Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Bazel Mayo; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Ann Mayo, St. Augustine, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Ron Young; sisters-in-law, Willa Mae Davis and Velva Davis; grandson and wife, Scott and Angela Mayo; and great grandchildren, Cole Mayo and Dale Keyt, all of Dahlonega, GA. Several nieces and nephews and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Annie are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, February 2 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 6PM until 9PM on Friday, February 1, and from 12 Noon until service time on Saturday, February 2.
