Maxine Eller Pass, 83, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Greene Point Nursing Home in Union Point, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Pass; her parents, Julius and Arie Savage Eller; brothers, James Eller, J.B. Eller, and Bobbie Eller; sister Blanche Martin. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Rev. John Pike, Greensboro, GA; grandson, Zach Pike; granddaughter, Katie Boland (David), great grandson, Bennett Boland; sisters-in-law, Mabel Pass, Buford, Dorothy Smith, Carnesville, Jenny Eller, Williamsburg VA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Pass was born July 11, 1929 in Demorest, GA. She worked for the American Oil Company as secretary for 10 years before becoming a full time homemaker after the birth of their daughter, Sally. She was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, GA where she taught Sunday School, worked with children and youth, and was a member of the United Methodist Women.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2013, at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford GA with Rev. John Pike officiating. Interment will follow in the Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Walker United Methodist Church, Greensboro, GA or Prospect United Methodist Church, Lawrenceville, GA.
