Georgie B. Davis

Georgie B. Davis was born Feb.21, 1922 to the late Fred and Elizabeth Barnes. She was married to the late Robert Davis Sr. To their union, one son Robert Davis,Jr. was born. Ms. Georgie joined the White Oak Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Winder, Ga. where she served faithfully for over 40 years. Ms. Georgie retired from Portec Rail in 1981. She quietly passed away on January 17, 2012. She is survived by her son Robert Davis, Jr(Bobby) and daughter-in-law, Cynthia of Loganville, Ga. She had two granddaughters Brittney and Briana Davis, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 2pm in the Chapel of Wimberly & Jackson Funeral Home.
