Beulah Wood "Jackie" Bruce Bennett

Mrs. Beulah Wood "Jackie" Bruce Bennett, 83 of Gainesville died Tuesday January 22, 2013 at her residence.

Born in Dawson County, Mrs. Bennett had lived in Hall County for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Harley Henry and Lola Ledbetter Wood. Mrs. Bennett was retired from the Northeast Georgia Medical Center and had also worked for a number of years as the credit manager J.D. Jewell Poultry Company, Cagles and Weavers Poultry companies. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law; Ava and Ron Evans, Gainesville; Tania and Dan Maffett, Sparks, NV; grandchildren; Anthony and Jennifer Evans, Gainesville; Joshua and Julie Evans, Gainesville; Daniel and Lisa Maffett; Dalton and Maureen Maffett, all of Sparks, NV; Jackie Maffett, Reno, NV; great grandchildren; Claire Evans, Caroline Evans, Chloe Evans, Elijah Evans and Ezra Evans, all of Gainesville; Kassidy Maffett, Hayden Maffett, Hudson Maffett, Liam Maffett, Dayne Griffin and Jayda Griffin, all of Sparks, NV; niece and husband; Laura and Glen Kolpfer, Washington, D.C.

Mrs. Bennett is preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Lee Bruce and Cleon Bennett.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 26, 2013 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Tom Smiley and Dr. Jerry Gill will officiate. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday January 25, 2013 from 6-8 p.m.
