Stoy H. Chandler, Jr.

Mr. Stoy H. Chandler, Jr., age 88 of Commerce died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Chandler was born in Royston to the late, Stoy H. and Margie Lee Culbertson Chandler, Sr. Mr. Chandler was retired from General Motors and was a US Army Veteran. Mr. Chandler was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Mealor Chandler.
Mr. Chandler is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann Upchurch of Waterloo, IA; grandchildren, Stephen, Jason, and Melanie Upchurch.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Ritchie officiating with the interment following in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 5-7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Commerce Jolly Agers Group: 1345 S. Elm St. Commerce, GA 30529.
