Clarice Mize Bellamy

Clarice Mize Bellamy, 94, of the Plainview Community, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 15, 2013 at the Northridge Medical Center in Commerce, GA.


Born July 3, 1918, in Carnesville, she was the daughter of the late Julian Carlyle and Ella Mabel Varner Mize. She was the widow of the late Thomas Buren Bellamy, the mother of the late Richard Bellamy and Thomas Rogers Bellamy, and sister of the late W. T. "Beadie" Mize and Alma Louise Mize Culberson. She was the mother-in-law of the late Max Lewallen. She was a homemaker and seamstress. She was a member of the Plainview Women's Club, the George Rice Sunday School Class and a life-long member of the Bold Spring United Methodist Church.



Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Jeannette B. Lewallen, Carnesville, and Wanda B. & Tom Watts, Warner Robins, GA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Milton H. & Sylvia Bellamy and Wilton C. and Brenda Bellamy, both of Carnesville; Ten grandchildren: Will Bellamy, Dan Bellamy, Tim Lewallen, Toni Lewallen, Traci Dulaney, Pamela Bellamy, Michelle Curcio, Kristie speed, Thomas Watts III, and Ashley Watts. Eight great-grandchildren: Brandon Bellamy, Nora Dulaney, Gabriel Curcio, Sebastian Curcio, Conner Speed, Taylor Speed, Shelby Speed, and Lauren Speed.





Services will be held at 2 pm, Friday, January 18, 2013 at Bold Spring United Methodist Church with Rev. Jordan Thrasher officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.



The body is at the Ginn Funeral Home, and will be placed in the church at 1:30 Friday afternoon. The family is at the home of her son, Milton Bellamy. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
