Mr. Ryan O'Rear, age 19, of Suwanee, GA went to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ on January 12, 2013.
He is survived by his parents, Tim and Jenny O'Rear, Suwanee, GA; sister, Shannon O'Rear, Suwanee, GA; brother, Tyler O'Rear, Suwanee, GA; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Avrett, Sun City, FL; paternal grandfather, Charles O'Rear, Flintstone, GA; paternal grandmother, Joann O'Rear, Flintstone, GA; uncle, Jay Avrett, Nashville, TN; and first cousin, Lt. John Avrett and wife, Meghan, Los Angeles, CA.
Mr. O'Rear was born January 24, 1993 in Atlanta, GA. He was a 2011 graduate of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA where he was captain of the 2011 Wrestling Team and competed in the State Dual Meet. He served in the United States Army. He was employed with The River Club Golf and Country Club in Suwanee, GA. He was a member of Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA. He loved football, baseball and wrestling and was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Shadowbrook Baptist Church with remains placed in state at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Rev. Bobby Linkous officiating. Interment will follow at Level Creek Cemetery in Suwanee, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Donations may be made to the Ryan O'Rear Memorial Fund at Community and Southern Bank in Buford, GA in memory of Ryan O'Rear.
