Edith May Prochniak

Mrs. Edith May Prochniak age 97 of Cleveland passed away on Tuesday January 15, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday January 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Lamar Lee will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 16, 2013 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.


Mrs. Prochniak was born on May 24, 1915 in Jasper, Georgia to the late Ryles Standridge and Ora Ortom Standridge. She was a housewife and was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, and daughter, Aline Wiley.


Mrs. Prochniak is survived by her son, Bill Henry of Houston, Texas, son, Raymond Lee of Clermont, son, Richard Lee of Cleveland, son, Tommy Lee of Clermont, son, Teddy Lee of Anderson, South Carolina, 12 Grandchildren, sister, Ruth Woodall of Cumming, sister, Grace Truelove of Clermont, and numerous Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.
