James Tyree Boone

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. James Tyree Boone, age 82, of Commerce, formerly of Hoschton, who passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013.

Mr. Boone was born in Tennessee, a son to the late Cecil and Myra Boone. Mr. Boone was retired from the GA Department of Transportation where he was a Motorpool Foreman. Mr. Boone was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps, serving as a paratrooper.

Mr. Boone was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Lucille Paschal Boone and his grandson, Brian Boone.

Survivors include his children, James Allen Boone, Hoschton, Debbie Boone (Douglas) Miller, Winder, Wayne (Alethia) Boone, Danielsville, Donna Boone (Randy) Beck, Maysville, grandchildren, Bryan Boone, Christy Miller, Jesse and Amber Boone, Heather Beck Haynes, Jeremy Beck, Keith Boone, great grandchildren, Zachary and Dakota Hroma, Bryan W. Boone, D.J. Byrd.

A visitation will be held for Mr. Boone on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 1-3pm at Evans Funeral Home.
