Eloise Hunt Schultz, 89 years old, passed away at Willow Gardens Personal Care Home in Toccoa, GA on Friday, January 4, 2013 due to Alzheimer's and complications of pneumonia.
Born September 21, 1923 in Cedartown, Georgia, the daughter of the late Elsie Mae McElveen Hunt, and the late Jesse Reese Hunt. She attended Georgia Teachers College in Statesboro, Georgia and later was employed at Fort Gilem Army Base in Forest Park, Georgia where she met Captain Carleton Frederick Schultz. They were married on July 15th, 1944 and lived most of their life in the Atlanta area where Mrs. Schultz was a wife, homemaker and mother. Mrs. Schultz was an avid bridge player and once scored a perfect 10,000 point game. She was a talented seamstress and creative in making crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Schultz in 1984.
Survivors include a daughter, Suzanne Schultz Baeszler of Habersham County, Georgia and son in law Marquis C. Baeszler; a son, Frederick Hunt Schultz of Big Canoe, GA and Naples, Florida and daughter in law Patricia Hunter Schultz; a sister, Ms. Marjorie Beck Johnson of Richardson, Texas; five grandchildren, Lisa Schultz Baeszler, Michael Carleton Baeszler, Christopher Frederick Schultz, Beth Schultz Cosslett, Scott Hunter Schultz, and five great grandchildren, Aree Panich, Sofia Baeszler, Marquis Baeszler, Hunter Schultz and Caroline Schultz.
There will be a private family graveside burial in Atlanta and a family dinner/memorial at a later date to share stories of "Momo's" life.
