Florence V. Digsby

Mrs. Florence V. Digsby, age 70, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband, T. P. Digsby; and daughter, Melodie Paula Digsby. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Richard Waits, Flowery Branch, GA; sisters-in-law, Patsy Spelee, Winder, GA and Erselene Hamrick, Winder, GA; brothers-in-law, Rev. Dewey Digsby, Carrollton, GA and Lanier Digsby, Griffin, GA; and several other relatives.

Mrs. Digsby was born February 10, 1942 in Cartersville, GA. She was retired from Avon. She was a member of Welcome Congregational Holiness Church in Norcross, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Coggins and Rev. Richard Waits officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
