Robert E. Leventhal

Robert E. Leventhal passed away at the Dogwood Forest Assisted Living Center in Alpharetta, Georgia after a lengthy illness.

Robert Leventhal was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 15, 1925. He served in World War II with the Airborne Infantry. Mr. Leventhal introduced the sport of soccer to Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville where he also taught math.

His wife, Jane Anne, preceded him in death in March of 1997. Mr. Leventhal lived in Hall County Georgia for 26 years. He and his wife were members of Grace Episcopal Church.


Survivors include a son, Robert A. Leventhal of Alpharetta, Georgia, two grandsons Tobias and Kastle of Roswell Georgia, a sister, Jen Gold of Tivon, Israel and his dear friend and companion Ellenor Unverzagt of Gainesville, Georgia.
