Eugene Walter Duncan

Mr. Eugene Walter (Slim) Duncan, age 80, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Duncan was born in Ila to the late Pascal B. and Wilda Chandler Duncan. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was retired from the Navy Supply Corp School.

Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Mathis Duncan of Commerce; daughter, Cristy Owensby of Carlton; son, Keith Duncan of Savannah; brothers, Arthur Duncan of Commerce and Dwayne Duncan of Nicholson; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Thursday, January 10 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil D. Gibby officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 6 to 8 PM.
