Elizabeth (Beth) Ann Law

Elizabeth (Beth) Anne Law, 53, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, was called home to her Lord on Monday January 7, 2013 at Gwinnett Medical Center following a brief illness. Beth passed peacefully with family and friends by her side. Beth was born in Geneva, New York on July 2, 1959 to her parents Rev. and Mrs. Donald K. Schroeder. She graduated from Albany High School, Albany, Georgia in June 1977, and earned her Bachelors of Education from the University of Georgia in June of 1981. She met her husband, Scott Law, and was married on July 29, 1983, in Wellsville, NY. She was a beloved teacher at Notre Dame Academy.
Beth was a kind and generous person; loved by all who knew her. Beth was predeceased by the love of her life, Scott Law, who passed away on May 30, 2012. Being a mother and grandmother was Beth's greatest gift and she is survived by her children, Adam 22, Morgan 20, Jonah 11, and granddaughter Spencer all of Lawrenceville. She is also survived by her parents Reverend Donald and Nancy Schroeder of Smyrna, Georgia; her mother-in-law Pat Law of Vero Beach, Florida; her brothers Reverend Andrew (Carol) Schroeder of Lake Worth, Florida, Jonathan (Brenda) Schroeder of Savannah, Georgia, and Peter (Karen) Schroeder of California, Maryland; her brother-in-law Glenn (Sandy) Law of Cheektowaga, NY and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation is at Flanigan Funeral Home at 4400 S. Lee Street, Buford, GA 30518, on Wednesday January 9, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.

The funeral service for Beth will be on January 10, 2013, 11:00 A.M., at Christ the Lord Lutheran Church, 1001 Duluth Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30043. Reverend Bob Morris will preside at the service. A reception will follow in the church social hall.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a fund established for Scott and Beth's beloved children in care of Bank of America Account #334039753363.
