Gene Bozeman Waddy

Mrs. Gene Bozeman Waddy, age 85, of Suwanee, GA passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013.

Mrs. Waddy was born April 18, 1927 in Atlanta, GA. She was a 1945 graduate of Girls High School in Atlanta, GA. She was a retired secretary. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Buford where she was also a member of the Upper Room Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, William Earl Waddy, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy W. and Raymond Lee, Suwanee, GA and Wanda Gene and David Waters, Stockbridge, GA; son and daughter-in-law; Charles Earl and Christy Waddy, Griffin, GA; grandchildren, Lauren Stecher, Atlanta, GA, Megan and Mark Bass, Suwanee, GA, Evan and Nancy Waddy, Fayetteville, GA and Kelsey Waddy, Fayetteville, GA; great grandchild, Eden Rae Waddy; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Jack and Jackie Bozeman, Elberton, GA; brother-in-law, Jim Morris, Heflin, AL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Kirk Bozeman officiating. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery in College Park, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
