Della Merline McKie

Mrs. Della Merline McKie, age 88 of Commerce died Sunday, January 06, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospice House. Mrs. McKie was born in Carnesville to the late, Dan and Ida Kay Moore. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McKie was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil McKie and daughter, Karen Carden.

Mrs. McKie is survived by her daughter, Shirley Standridge of Maysville; son, Rusty McKie of Maysville; daughter, Brenda Patrick of Commerce; daughter, Mildred Barnette of Winder; son, Bobby McKie of Commerce; daughter, Ann McKie of Commerce; brother, Roger Moore of Jefferson; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, Jan.8 at 11 AM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Nix officiating with the interment following in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 6-8 PM.
