Tammi Lynn Simpson Pinson

Mrs. Tammi Lynn (Simpson) Pinson, age 53, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

A memorial service is scheduled for 7:00 pm Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pinson was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but spent most of her life in the Gainesville/Hall County area. Tammi was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church on Green Street and graduated from Gainesville High School.

Tammi is survived by her husband, Johnny Pinson of Gainesville; sons, Trey Pinson, and Carter Pinson both of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Christa and David Andrews of Dawsonville; grandson, Ethan Andrews; and granddaughter, Caitlyn Andrews both of Dawsonville; parents, Paul and Joyce Simpson of Woodstock; sister and brother-in-law, Victoria and Tre Glassman also of Woodstock; mother-in-law, Bonnie Pinson of Gainesville; sister-in-law and husband, Beth and Dave Jones of Chestnut Mountain; special aunt and uncle, Mary and Pete Stone of Buford and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Hall County Humane Society 845 West Ridge Road Gainesville, GA 30501.
