Everett David Taylor, age 84 of Cumming, passed away, Thursday, January 3, 2013. He was a wonderful Christian man who dearly loved his Southern Bride, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his dog, Freddie. He was known for his spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese and potato salad. He loved golf, wood working and was a Veteran of WWII serving in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Christine M. Taylor of Cumming; children, Darlynn Ford of Medford Lakes, NJ, Greg Taylor of Douglasville, Cindy Collis of Thurmont, MD, Tina Vickery Taylor of St. Cloud, FL, Phil Samples of Flowery Branch and Lynda Samples of Thomson, Ronnie and Terri Samples of Cumming, Byron and Tammy Samples of Harlem, GA; sister, Jerrie Entwhistle of New Jersey, Mary Lou Espesito of Mt. Holly, NJ; grandchildren, Justin Vickery, Mitch Vickery, Laura Collis, Matthew Collis, Amanda and Brooks Swanson, Felicia Samples, Jessica and Rhodie Smith, Alaina and Chris Conner, Lauren and Jason Lee, Cassie Samples; great grandchildren, Abi and Adah Swanson, Rhodie Smith; special friend, Jay Peak and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 6th at 2:00 pm at Bethelview United Methodist Church with Rev. Deborah Griffith officiating. Remains will be placed in state at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Bethelview United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
