Randy Baxter

Mr. Randy Baxter, age 64, of Athens, GA died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Baxter was born in Commerce to Helen Freada Anglin Baxter of Maysville and the late Joe T. Baxter.

He was a member of Commerce First United Methodist Church and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was employed as a salesman with Burton and Burton. In addition to his father, Mr. Baxter was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Seagraves Baxter and sister, Myra Baxter.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Baxter is survived by his son, Blake Baxter of Athens and brother, Steve Baxter of Maysville.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Commerce First United Methodist Church with Rev. Billy Pittman officiating. Interment will follow in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 6 to 8 PM.
