Thelma Jean Bellamy Williams

Thelma Jean Bellamy Williams, age 80 of Cornelia, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012.

Born in Banks County on November 02, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Lon and Myrt Osborne Bellamy.

Mrs. Williams was a member of Hillside Baptist Church and was formerly employed with Carwood Manufacturing for 32 years. She enjoyed sewing and WMU's at Harmony Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was also preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Williams; brothers, Lloyd and Ralph Bellamy; sisters, Jennie Lou Poole and Elise Ward.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, John and Rosemary Williams of Baldwin, Hank and Myra Williams of Alto and Danny and Katie Williams of Cornelia; daughter, Denise Williams of Cornelia; brother, Harold Bellamy of Gainesville; sisters, Evelyn Frady and Shirley Merck both of Gainesville; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are 11:00 am Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Larry Free officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
