Janie E. Testerman

Janie E. Testerman, age 85 of Sautee, GA, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Tranquility Hospice House in Austell, GA following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Holmes officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 6:00-9:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Testerman was born on February 23, 1927 in Sautee, GA to the late Orville Barnard West and the late Annie Zelia Hood West. She was a homemaker and was a member of Helen First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lieutenant Colonel Robert Berlon Testerman; her three brothers, Lester, Lamar and O.B. Jr. West and her sister, Anne Forrest.

Mrs. Testerman is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Anne and Michael Robert Walburn of Decatur, GA; son and daughter-in-law, John Robert and Rose Marie Testerman of Bristol, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Susan and Gregory Keith Collins of Atlanta; grandsons, Robert, Mark and Phillip Testerman; granddaughters, Kelly Moody and Janie Goss and 6 great-grandchildren.
