Frances Dowell Kelley

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Frances Dowell Kelley, age 88 of Jefferson, Georgia who passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012.

Mrs. Kelley was born in Crossplains, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Thomas and Ruby Carver Dowell. Mrs. Kelley was a retired teachers assistant with the Jackson County School System and a member of the Galilee Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kelley is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Odell Kelley.

Survivors include two sons, Tommy Kelley of Cataula, Georgia and Jeff Kelley of Jefferson. Two daughters, Sharon Qualls of Suwanee, and Karen Icenhour of Dallas, Georgia. One brother, Robert Drake of Ridgetop, Tennessee, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 22, 2012, from the Galilee Christian Church with Minister Tom Plank officiating with burial to follow in the Galilee Christian Church Cemetery.
