June Darlene Stockton

Mrs. June Darlene Stockton, 56 of Braselton died Sunday December 16, 2012 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Jesup, Georgia, Mrs. Stockton had lived in Jackson County for a number of years. She was the daughter of the late Roy W. and Madeline D. Montgomery. She was employed as a cashier at Wal-Mart in Oakwood and was of the Baptist Faith.

June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, who cared for all she met.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Horace Emory Stockton, Braselton; daughters, Jody Scanlon, Braselton; Tanya Walsh, Mobile, Alabama; brothers, Greg Montgomery, Neal Montgomery, both of Jasper; sisters, Mary Holcomb, Amarillo, Texas; Diana Clark, Ft. Worth, Texas; Peggy Hitt, Dawsonville; Five Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

June is preceded in death by a son, Allen Chastain and a daughter, Donna L. Chastain.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday December 18, 2012 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Phil Ferguson will officiate. Interment will be in the Center Grove Baptist Church in Jackson County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday December 17, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. and again on Tuesday December 18, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
