Carrie Kelley Smith

Carrie Kelley Smith, 51, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday December 15, 2012 at Northside Forsyth Hospital following a short illness.

Born July 18, 1961 in Hall County to the late Winford R. and Betty F. Kelley, she lived most of her life in Dawson County. Carrie was an Administrative Assistant for Infratech and was formerly employed by the U. S. D. A. and The Dawson Advertiser and News. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Ratcliff Henry and Carrie Marthenia Kelley.

Surviving are her son and daughter in law, Marcus and Ashley Smith, Dawsonville; sister and brother in law, Deborah and Jesus Simental, Flowery Branch; brother and sister in law, Cliff and Teresa Kelley, Alto; nephews and their spouses, Victor and Monique Simental, Johnathan and Sharra Kelley; great niece, Dallas Kelley; fiancé, Ronnie J. Hester, Canton; sister by choice and her spouse, Donna and Kenneth Jammes, Dawsonville; and her best friend, Laurice James, Florida.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday December 18, 2012 at 2 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Kenneth Pilcher will officiate. Interment will follow in the Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon until 2 at the funeral home.
