Betty Jean H. Hall

Betty Jean H. Hall passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 at home surrounded by family and friends after a short term illness.

Graveside services will be held at the VFW Memorial Park Cemetery, Cornelia at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 15, 2012 with Truitt Franklin officiating.

Born in Habersham County on March 18, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Walter D. and Naomi Hill. She was a loving mother and homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hall, and brothers Buck Hill and Mac Hill.

Survivors include daughter Terri Hall of Dawsonville, GA and son Mark Hall of Atlanta, GA, sister Rubye Hilliard of Dublin, GA and sister Edna Crocker of Cornelia, GA, several nieces and nephews, and friend and caregiver Robyn Welch of Commerce, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 or to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
