Rev. Donald Campbell, Sr.

Rev. Donald Campbell, Sr., age 82, of Clarkesville, Georgia went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 12, 2012, peacefully at home.

Mr. Campbell was born in Jackson County, on December 2, 1930, to the late Rev. Garnett Clifton Campbell, Sr., and Ruth Mauldin Campbell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nathalie
Gabrels Campbell, sisters, Frances Campbell Hicks, Glenda Campbell Porter, and a brother, G.C. Campbell, Jr. Mr. Campbell was a veteran
of the United States Army having served in the Korean Conflict. He was a Baptist minister for 49 years and a member of Amy's Creek Baptist
Church.

Survivors include daughter, Brenda C. Anderson, Mt. Airy; daughter and
son-in-law, Linda C. and Jack Moody, Baldwin; daughter, Lynn C. Alger, Harrisonburg, VA; sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Kathy Campbell, Cleveland, and Ray and Deborah Campbell, Cornelia; sister, Shirley Roberts, Clarkesville; brother, James A. Campbell, Social Circle; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and
nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, December 15, 2012, Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with
Rev. Austin Kelley, Rev. Mike Irvin and Rev. Leon Carter officiating.
Interment will follow in the Habersham Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, December 14, 2012 at the funeral home.
