Bobbie McConnell Brown

Funeral services for Bobbie McConnell Brown, age 56, of Cornelia will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 14, 2012 from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Billy Burrell will officiate with interment to follow the service in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown died at her residence following an extended illness on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 with her loving family by her side.

Born in Habersham County on June 24, 1956 Mrs. Brown was the daughter of Mary Cragg McConnell and the late Donald McConnell. She was of the Baptist faith and a self employed saddle maker with Brown Rawhide Covering.

Survivors include her husband Tony Brown of Cornelia, mother Mary Cragg McConnell of Mt. Airy, daughters Connie James (Greg) of Mt. Airy and Brandy Brown of Cornelia, son Toby Brown of Cornelia, brothers Larry McConnell (Sheila) of Cornelia and Gary McConnell of Toccoa, sisters Cindy Kastner (Harold) of Mt. Airy and Brenda Fry (Russell) of Demorest, as well as five grandchildren Dedra, Eric, Amber, Cody, and Clint.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Friday, December 14th from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
