Sue Burris

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Ellen Sue Burris, age 64, of Hoschton, who passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012.

Mrs. Burris was born in Atlanta, Ga. a daughter of the late John Elliott Rogers and the late Martha Jeanette James Rogers. Mrs. Burris was retired from Western Electric/AT&T. She became a Full Time Mom but also worked with Town and Country Florist in Hoschton for several years, and was also a Mary Kay Consultant. Mrs. Burris was a member of White Plains Baptist Church. Mrs. Burris was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Sarah Wallace and brothers, Calvin and John Jr. Rogers.

Survivors include her husband, Neil Burris, Hoschton, daughters, Kelley Burris, Shelley Burris both of Flowery Branch, Monica Wilbanks, Hoschton, son, Sonny Burris, Carnesville, daughter, Tena Wheeler, Louisville, sisters, Winnie Wright and Betty Moore both of Alpharetta, grandchildren, Michael Patterson, Hannah Frankland, Matthew Frix, Hunter Burris, Ashley Wilbanks, Bonnie Wheeler, Leyla Ozcelik, Bora Ozcelik, great grandchildren, Devin Patterson and Lily Wright

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. David Frix officiating. The burial will follow in the Evans Memory Gardens. The visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 5-9PM at the funeral home.
