Mrs. Lassie "Jack" Allen Martin, age 97, of Buford, GA passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cline A. Martin; and son, Robert Martin. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Allan Smith, Flowery Branch, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Shirley Martin, Dawsonville, GA; six grandchildren, Tim and Pam Martin, Dacula, GA, Amy and Rob Hobbs, Clear Water, FL, Lee Smith, Buford, GA, Jeff and Jean Ann Smith, Cumming, GA, Trina and Brent Martin, Canton, GA and Daphne and Todd Gentry, Cumming, GA; twelve great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Allen Jones, Duluth, GA; sisters-in-law, Sue Martin Bailey, Buford, GA, Frances Martin Doster, Buford, GA and Ruby Westbrook Martin, Buford, GA; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful neighbors.

Mrs. Martin was born May 31, 1915 in Forsyth County, GA. She was retired from Dolco Packing Company in Lawrenceville, GA after ten years of service. She was a long time member of Gravel Springs Baptist Church in Buford, GA. She enjoyed gardening and her family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Frankie Southerland officiating. Interment will follow at Old Suwanee Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA.
