Rachel Bailey Hanes

Mrs. Rachel Bailey Hanes, age 85, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Hanes. She is survived by her brother, Curtis Bailey, Buford, GA; brother-in-law, Nathaniel Waldrip, Lilburn, GA; sisters-in-law, Fannie Lou Pierce, Flowery Branch, GA and Alphie Kendrick; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Hanes was born September 11, 1927 in Lawrenceville, GA. She was retired from Dick Lynott Company after ten years of service and also Georgia Boot Company in Flowery Branch, GA after over twenty years of service. She was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church in Hoschton, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Ollie V. Hayes officiating. Interment will be in Mulberry Baptist Church Cemetery in Hoschton, GA.
