Aaron H. Whiting

Mr. Aaron H. Whiting, age 75, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry D. and Eunice Roper Whiting.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Betty Jean Roberts Whiting, Sugar Hill, GA; sons, Robbie Whiting, Flowery Branch, GA and Jeff Whiting, Sugar Hill, GA; grandchildren, Jackson Whiting, Joely Whiting and Matthew Whiting; sister, Gloria Whiting Farmer, Germany; brother-in-law, John Newell, Buford, GA and Burle Roberts, Oakwood, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Whiting was born August 12, 1937 in Gainesville, GA.

He was a 1955 graduate of Flowery Branch High School in Flowery Branch, GA. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was retired from General Motors Assembly Plant in Doraville, GA after thirty-five years of service and was a member of the U. A. W. Local 10. He was a Mason and member of the Buford Masonic Lodge No. 292 F. & A.M. and a member of the Taylor Chapter No. 48 of Royal Arch.

He was a member of Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
