Jimmy Duwayne Anderson, Sr

Funeral service will be held Sunday Dec. 9, 20l2 at 2:00 p.m. in Holly Springs Baptist Church for Jimmy Duwayne Anderson, Sr. age 69 of Lula. Visitation will be at the funeral home Dec. 8th 4-8pm. The Rev. Josh Chatham, Rev. Scott Strickland, and Rev. Chandler Anderson and Rev. Emory Forrester are in charge of the service. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Anderson passed away Dec. 6, 2012 after a short battle with cancer. Mr. Anderson was born Nov. 9, 1943 in Gainesville, Ga. to the late Rev. James Anderson and the late Louise Lee Anderson. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his nephew Mike Satterfield. Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Ann Oliver Anderson, three children, Wanda Tumlin, Jimmy Anderson, and Jeff Anderson, his sister, Linda Arrington and husband Don of Banks, Alabama, his niece Kelly Groover, his brothers and sisters-in-law, Chris and Angie Hulsey and Richard and Debbie Rogers, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and two special K-9 champion Tux.

Mr. Anderson was employed by Fieldale Farms Feed Mill and enjoyed spending time out doors, camping and fishing.
