Dorothy Martin

Mrs. Dorothy Martin, age 92, of Commerce, GA died Thursday, December 06, 2012 at Wilbanks Country Living.

Mrs. Martin was born in Maysville, GA to the late Lon and Essie Cotton Harrison. She was a member of Blacks Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Martin and daughter, Lanell Martin.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her son, Oneal Martin of Commerce; grandchildren, Ginger Griffith, Shelia Doss and Britt Martin; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Saturday, December 8 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Coppage and Rev. Jim Waller officiating. Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Advantage, 2470 Daniells Bridge Road, Suite 171, Athens, GA 30606.
