Genelle Byrd Rylee

Mrs. Genelle Byrd Rylee, age 89, of Homer, GA died Thursday, December 06, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. Rylee was born in Carnesville to the late Garland and Alma Jones Byrd. She was a member of Webbs Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rylee was preceded in death by her husband, John Otis Rylee, Sr. and brother, Jones Byrd.

Mrs. Rylee is survived by her son, J.O. Rylee; daughters, Gloria Rylee and Phyllis Miranda all of Homer; aunts, Mae Jones of Gastonia, NC and Gladys Pruitt of Homer; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 PM, Saturday, December 8 at Webbs Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Banks Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6 to 8 PM.
