Rickey Mark Hales

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Rickey Mark Hales, age 53, of Commerce, GA who passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012.

Mr. Hales was born in Asheville, NC, a son to Jarrell N. and Melba Ingram Hales of Chamblee. Mr. Hales grew up in Chamblee and later moved to Commerce and was an Auto Glass Technician. Mr. Hales attended Trinity Baptist Church in Brookhaven and was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Scott Hales.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Hales, Commerce, daughters, Pamela (Shane) Fortner, and Amanda Hales all of Jefferson, parents, Jarrell and Melba Hales, Chamblee, sister, Regina Hales, Woodstock, brothers, Jerry Hales, Woodstock and Eric Hales of Jefferson, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Knight officiating. The burial will follow in the Pond Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 from 12noon -2pm at the funeral home, prior to the service.
