Mrs. L. D. Burnette Gober, age 100, of Buford, GA and formerly of Monroe, GA passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde Gober; and parents, Will and Vera Cagle Burnette. She is survived by her son, Harry James Gober, Atlanta, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins; her extended family, the nursing staff of Brookside Assisted Living for the past fifteen years and her church family of First Baptist Church of Buford.
Mrs. Gober was born December 3, 1912 in Walton County, GA. She graduated from A. & M. of Monroe, GA. She was a homemaker. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Buford where she was also a member of the Daisy Shadburn Bykota Sunday School Class.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Buford, GA.
