J.R. McNeal

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday December 5, 2012 in the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. J.R. McNeal age 96 of Gainesville. The Rev. Mike Hudmon will officiate. Interment will follow in Gillsville Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. McNeal passed away Sunday December 2, 2012.

Mr. McNeal was born in Appling County, Georgia and had lived most of his life in Hall County. He was the son of the late James Fredrick McNeal and Della Delong McNeal. He was a farmer and the Owner of J.R. McNeal Grocery. He served in the U.S. Air Force in WWII and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include Brother, W.L. McNeal, Gainesville, Sister, Mary Farmer, Gainesville and a number of Nieces and Nephews.
