Charles William Sterling Sr.

Charles William Sterling Sr., age 88, of Forsyth County, passed away, Saturday, December 01, 2012.

He was a member of Community Christian Church where he served as a Deacon for many years. He loved his family and golfing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John S. Sterling Sr. and Kate Sterling; sister, Martha Sterling Pennington; brother, John S. Sterling Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Sue Sterling of Forsyth County; son and daughter in law, Billy and Barb Sterling of Forsyth County; sister in law, Duane Gay Sterling; grandchildren, Ashley (Tony) Mayabb, Kendall Sterling, Arica (Matt) Waldron, Aaron Richardson; nieces, nephews, and other loving family

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 4th, 2012 at 2:00 PM, at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Grinstead officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 12:00 pm until the hour of service.
