Gene B. Holbrook

Gene B. Holbrook, of Cumming, GA, age 79, passed away on December 2, 2012. Gene was a member of Cumming First United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Eleene Holbrook.

Survivors include his children, Keith and Katrina Holbrook of Dawsonville, Karen and Ricky Evans of Cumming, Mark and Vicki Holbrook of Cumming; grandchildren, Kasay and Kaleb Holbrook, Angela and Steve Schimweg, Cory and Michelle Evans, Hannah and Carter Holbrook; great grandchildren, Kade, Luke and Alex Schimweg, Ellie and Addison Evans; brother and sister-in-law, John and Martha Holbrook; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Garston and Evelyn Green of Cumming; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. Gene is also survived by many friends and caregivers at the Oaks Assisted Living Home.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 3, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel at Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Boling, Rev. Danny Orr, and Dr. Shannon Mize officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m., and on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Food Pantry.
