A liturgical service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Warner Robins at 2:00 on Tuesday, December 4 in honor of William J. Boschelli who passed away Thursday November 29, 2012.
William (Bill) was born in Harrisburg, PA on September 15, 1928 to Frank and Divina Buglio Boschelli who were Italian immigrants. Along with his sister Mary Jane, Bill grew up in the Depression and was a proud graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg. He came of age during the Second World War and later served in the US Army in Germany in the 4th Infantry Division. After his time in the army, he worked in the Civil Service, first in Pennsylvania, and later in Georgia. Bill played an active role as a member of the core group that assisted coach Joe Sumrall in establishing the Warner Robins High School Touchdown Club in the late 1960s. He had many happy years with his wife Rita, who passed away in 2001. Bill's leisure time in Warner Robins was spent on the links, slapping the little white ball about and shooting the breeze. He was also an avid reader of military history and enjoyed spending time cooking and baking bread for his family.
William is survived by son and daughter-in-law David and Laura Boschelli of Colorado Springs, CO; son and daughter-in-law Frank and Diane Boschelli of New City, NY; daughter and son-in-law Louise B. and Lawrence R.
