Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Samuel "Kyle" Bryant, age 64, of Alto, GA who passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2012.
Mr. Bryant was born in Dublin, GA a son of the late E.K. Bud Bryant and Callie Simmons Bryant.
Mr. Bryant was a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served in Guam during the Vietnam War. Mr. Bryant was a Member of the Buford Masonic Lodge #292 and also a member of the Peace Officers Association of Georgia. Mr. Bryant was Commander of the Mountain Judicial Drug Task Force and the Narcotic and Criminal Suppression Team.
Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Bryant.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday Nov. 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Stewart officiating. The interment will follow at Walnut Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Braselton, GA with Rick Bridgeman, Heath Migliore, Rick Kloog, Brian Rickman, Sam Beard and Herman Roscoe Cronic honored as pallbearers. Honoray pallbearers will be Rich McCrillis, Ralph Crumbley, Charles Chapman, John Cody. The family will receive friends on Tuesday Nov. 27, 2012 at the funeral home from 1-4 P.M. and from 6-9 P.M.
Survivors include his daughter Callie Bryant of Braselton GA, life time companion Carmen Adams of Alto GA, former wife, Debra Bryant of Braselton GA and step son, Steve Stewart of Gainesville GA, brothers and sister Kenneth (Hazel) Bryant of Buford GA, Wanda (Ralph) Crumbley of Gray GA, Larry (Connie) Bryant of Macon GA, sister in law, Diane McCrillis, Buford, and a number of Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Open Arms Food Ministry at Cornerstone Assembly of God 3622 Atlanta Hwy Flowery Branch GA 30542
