Michael Wayne Sullens

Michael Wayne Sullens, age 49, of Gainesville, GA died Friday, November 23, 2012 at Northeast GA Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Mr. Sullens was a Lumpkin County native, a retired poultry worker and was of the Methodist faith.

He was the son of the late James Alfred Sullens and Vassie Viola Rider Sullens and was also preceded in death by brothers, Robert Lee Sullens, J.A. Sullens and J.R. Sullens; sisters, Faye Armstrong and Imogene Dover.

He is survived by children, Austin Sullens, Patrick Sullens, Nina Diaz and her husband, Ramiro, Gainesville, Jennifer Armstrong, Gainesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, James A. and Shirley Sullens, Dahlonega, Lester and Joan Sullens, Toccoa; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Jimmy Garrison, Dahlonega, Louise and Tony Johnson, Cleveland, Hazel and Robert Heavrin, Cleveland, Mattie and Raydale White, Luthersville. 3 grandchildren and a large number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM Tuesday November 27, 2012 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Monday from 2 PM until 9 PM.
