Kevin Maurice Young

Mr. Kevin Maurice Young, age 49, of Decatur, formerly of Gainesville, Georgia passed November 20, 2012. Home Going Services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012, 2:00pm at Young's Funeral Home in The Willie B. Young Chapel. Rev. William Lipscomb, Eulogist. Visitation Friday, November 23, 2012, 12noon until 8:00pm. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:30pm.

Kevin was born September 15, 1963 in Gainesville, Georgia to Johnny Cecil Young and Sandra Jean Young. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Jean Young and his sister, Becky"Queeny" Harris.

Maurice leaves to cherish his memories his father, Johnny Cecil Young of Gainesville, Georgia; two loving children, Lorenzo and Marquitta of Gillsville, Georgia; sisters, Debra Lee and Kelli Young of Atlanta, Georgia; brothers, Kenneth (Ethel) Harris of Apoka, Florida, Johnny Young of Royston,Georgia, Tim Harris and Tony Haley of Gainesville, Georgia, and Jeffrey Mize of Virginia; Aunts, Doris Hill of Gainesville, Georgia and Emily (Alex) Mattox of Buford , Georgia and a host of other relatives and friends.
