Sara Brock Sudderth

Mrs. Sara Brock Sudderth, age 83, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Grady Sudderth; parents, Tillman and Euna Brock; and brother, Myron Brock.

She is survived by her children, Ray and Cheryl Sudderth, Sugar Hill, GA, Richard and Wansley Sudderth, Pendergrass, GA and Kay and Barry Daniel, Maysville, GA; grandchildren, Christy Miller, Shane and Trinny Sudderth, Michelle and Clint Worthy, Wendy Sudderth, Lindsay Daniel, Stephen Daniel and fiancée, Haley Crumley; eight great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Ara and Edward Dye, Cumming, GA, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the late Erskine Sudderth Family; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Sudderth was born May 16, 1929 in Barrow County, GA. She was a 1946 graduate of Winder High School and attended Southern Business University. She worked for Lad N Dad Slacks and Pacesetters Mens Wear for twenty-three years as a bookkeeper and traffic manager and she also worked eleven years at Suwanee Lumber Company as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a member of the Silvertone Choir in Buford, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at the Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
