Sonni Merle Auguletto

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Sonni Merle Auguletto, age 81, of Stockbridge, who passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012.

Mr. Auguletto was born in Hannibal, MO, a son to the late Elmo Merle and Alice Marie Caldwell Auguletto. Mr. Auguletto was a veteran serving for 20 years in the Army Air Force exchange in Fort Gilliam, and a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Mr.Auguletto's stepsons, Jack Douglas Shumake and Donnie Steve Shumake, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Alice Taylor Auguletto, Stockbridge, sons, Dennis Merle Auguletto, California, Don Ray Auguletto, Arizona, Mark Stephen Auguletto, Florida, adopted grandchildren, Justin Lee Shumake and Annie Marie Shumake Oglesby, stepsons, Michael Charles Shumake, Stockbridge, Tony Lee Shumake, California, sister, Cleo "Babe" Lockard, Illinios, 31 Grand and Great Grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 2:00pm at the Graveside with Rev. Tommy Seay officiating. The burial and service will be in the Woodbine Cemetery in Jefferson. The visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 from 12noon
