Douglas E. Klesius

Mr. Douglas E. Klesius, age 47, of Dahlonega, GA died November 17, 2012.

Douglas E. Klesius was the owner and a licensed professional counselor at Wellspring Counseling North Georgia in Dawsonville, GA. He was also a mental health counselor at Care and Counseling Center in Decatur, GA. Although he helped individuals with a range of mental health issues, his specialty was helping people who suffer from addiction. Doug moved to North Georgia in June 2000 and loved the area and the people here. He graduated from Piedmont College with a B.A. in Psychology and from North Georgia College and State University with a M.S. in Counseling. Doug loved sports, people, animals, and nature, so north Georgia was the perfect place for him.

His parents, Steve and Janell Klesius; his brother, Gregory Klesius, and 2 nieces, Stephanie and Rachel, survive him.

Doug's family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Tuesday November 20, 2012 from 5 PM until 8 PM.
