James David Harrison

James David Harrison, age 59 of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012 at his residence following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Reverend Gary Carlisle officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Harrison was born July 8, 1953 in Buford, GA to the late Raymond Birdis (Bert) Harrison and the late Addie Line Hanes Harrison. He was employed with the Hall County School System and attended Gainesville First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Randall Harrison.

Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife, Carrie Sharp Harrison of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, James Brian and Kimberley Harrison of Bunnell, FL; step daughter, Katie Finnegan of Atlanta; granddaughters, Ryleigh and BrieAnna Harrison of Palm Coast, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Steve Poole of Gainesville; brother, Lamar Harrison of Auburn, GA; his twin sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Tommy Couch of Braselton and several nieces and nephews.
