Terry Wayne Chandler

Mr. Terry Wayne Chandler, age 50, of Dahlonega, GA, died Thursday, November 15, 2012.

Terry was born May 27, 1962 in Montgomery, AL. He had lived in Dahlonega for the past six years and was a former resident of Auburn, AL. He was employed at Camp Frank D. Merrill and was a member of Dahlonega United Methodist Church. He was a devoted Dad and served his community through Side by Side Ministries.

Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy S. Blackwell Chandler.

He is survived by his daughter, Raini Joy Chandler, Dahlonega, GA; father and stepmother, Joe and Jewel Chandler, Flomaton, AL; brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Melanie Chandler, North Port, AL; sister, Tonya Brewer, Jay, FL. Four nieces, one nephew, and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Dahlonega United Methodist Church. Dr. Jeff Ross will officiate. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at Dahlonega United Methodist Church on Saturday from 12 Noon until 2 PM.
