Calvin Nolon Baker

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Calvin Nolon Baker, 68, of Maysville, who passed away on Thursday at the NE GA Medical Center in Gainesville.

Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Arvil Henry and Cora Lee Watkins Baker and was married to the late Ruth Elaine Massey Baker. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Modale Sorrow, Jean Richey, W.C. Baker, Horace Baker, Shirley Baker and Alfred Baker. Survivors include sons, Kenneth and Ricky Dean Baker, both of Maysville, a daughter, Katherine "Cathy" Elaine Queen of Maysville, brothers, Bob, Lonnie and Wendy Baker, all of Maysville, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at 1 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Revs. Curtis Hammonds and Tim Boswell officiating. Interment will follow in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 PM
