James Edward Butterworth

Edward Butterworth age 86 of New Holland passed away on Thursday November 08, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday November 10, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Wayne Hicks will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday November 10, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.


Mr. Butterworth was born on April 02, 1926 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Clyde Butterworth and Ethel Chandler Butterworth. He was retired from E.B. Martin Hatchery as a Manager and attended New Haven Congregational Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Belle Edmonson Butterworth, son-in-law, Johnnie Mincey,sister, Lois Bell, and son, Dwight Armour.


Mr. Butterworth is survived by his daughter, Dianne Mincey of Gainesville, granddaughter, Sabrina Mincey of Baltimore, grandson, Shane Armour of Gainesville, sister, Lounette Ryals of Cherokee, North Carolina, sister, Lucy Ladig of Gainesville, chosen son, Harold Bingham of Gainesville.
